Wiffleball Pitcher Traded to Edmonton

Matt Dahlin throwing a wiffleball Matt Dahlin, arguably the most talented pitcher in Major League Wiffleball history, was recently traded from the Midwest Sliders of the Frontier League, to the Edmonton Cracker-Cats of the Golden Baseball League for shortstop Jonathon Castro.

Last year, Dahlin went 1-4 for the Sliders, who played all of their games on the road. This season, the Sliders will be playing all of their home games in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Back in his wiffleball days, when Dahlin played all of his games at The Sac, he went 4-0 with a 0.00 ERA for his career.

This could be considered a step-up for Dahlin. Although the Cracker-Cats are not affiliated with a Major League Baseball team, the Golden Baseball League is said to be more competitive than the Frontier League, and Dahlin will get to play with former New York Yankees pitcher Jorge DePaula.

We continue to wish Matt the best of luck as he keeps pursuing his baseball dream.
