I’m a sports commissioner, and according to a recent Yahoo Sports article, I make less money than Gary Bettman. He made more money than me last year too. It’s tough for me to admit that, mostly because I think I do a better job than the NHL Commissioner, but then I realized that most of us make less than $7.2 million per year.

You can’t tell from the ShoeMoney-style photo to the left how much that check is for, and that’s partially on purpose, but I’ll admit it’s for a whopping $27.

Now, I make a “few” extra bucks off this site, but Gary Bettman’s NHL earnings still beat my MLW earnings by about $7.1998 million! Luckily, I have a day job that pays better than my Major League Wiffleball Commissioner duties.

If Wiffle Ball was on television, it would get more viewers than an NHL game. And we all know that Wiffle Ball is cooler than ice hockey.
