Wiffle® Fest 2009
The folks over at Wifflefest.net will be hosting their 5th Annual Wiffle® Fest Tournament on July 18, 2009 in Homewood, IL (25 minutes south of Chicago).
There will be two divisions for players 18-years old and up: ‘Fast Pitch’ and ‘Recreational’ (medium speed/base running). Each division will have a maximum of 40-50 teams, with 3-5 players per team. The tournament will follow a round robin format, and lead to single elimination.
The team fee is $110. All players will receive a Wiffle® Fest 2009 T-shirt and lunch.
In addition to the tournament, a home run derby will be held. All players are also invited to a Friday night pre-party featuring Youth Wiffle® Fest and a Co-Rec Kickball tournament.
