Just when we thought he was done, Ken Griffey, Jr. has decided to come back for at least one more season. While another season of Ken Griffey, Jr. may be great for baseball, it’s not as good for wiffleball.
When we started using the Ken Griffey, Jr. black wiffleball bat, home runs flew out of The Sac like never before. However, by the end of the season, the bat lost it’s power, and it became just a regular bat.
So, the next year, I bought a new Griffey bat, and it made a huge difference. There was no comparison to the “old” one. The new bat was just better. To this day, the Ken Griffey, Jr. black wiffleball bat is the best wiffleball bat I’ve ever used…
A few months ago, I wrote an article about the greatest wiffleball bat that I’ve ever used — the Ken Griffey, Jr. bat. And judging from the comments that I received, I’m not the only one who likes this bat.
Shortly after the article was posted here, the bat sold out on Amazon.com. Well, I’m glad to report that it’s back in stock. Buy it now before it sells out again!
On Monday, Seattle Mariners outfielder Ken Griffey, Jr. homered for the 8th time on opening day of his 21-year career, tying Frank Robinson’s record for the most opening day home runs of all-time.

The conversation quickly turned to wiffleball, and he asked me if I had ever tried the Ken Griffey, Jr. bat. I hadn’t even heard of it, and I asked what was so great about it. Jeff, a fellow wiffleball fan responded, “When you pick it up, you just know…” I’ll never forget those words.
