If the rapping career never develops, he can still rely on his baseball career. Mauer is on his way to this third American League batting title. Through 55 games this season, he is batting .392 with 14 home runs (a career high).

However, that all changed today, when an MRI revealed that the All-Star Twins catcher has an inflamed SI joint (or sacroiliac joint) on the right side of his lower back and will be out indefinitely.
