Mick,

Maybe the quality of the Junk Ball has gotten worse since we tried these a few years ago.

Last fall, we used some that we had set aside. One of us knocked the ring off and put a dent in it. However, we were able to fix it, and after a couple of hits, it was back to normal! Very strange.

Still it's not as good as the Easton Training Balls -- which are made in China, but the original ones made in Taiwan were so much better.

"Shitball" would better describe this waste of money. Ours broke after 3 hits from an 8 year old. I think that we, even in America, have the ability to build something this crappy. Do we really need to go to China to do this? I'll tell you what, build it here, make it last and I'll pay an extra buck for it!

I bought the home run package and finally got to use it yesterday. it was fun at first but when the ring kept coming off the ball and then finally the ball split, we didn't even get but one game in before this happened. So today we just hit again and the bat broke off from the sweet spot to the end. I would not tell someone to buy this, just stick to the yellow bat because it lasts

The Junkball is a waste of money. Yes, it is true that the pitches are awesome but they can't be awesome if the dial breaks after a day and the ball splits in two after three games of backyard baseball with the Official Junkball Bat.
