In a slump? Wear a thong!
In case you haven’t heard, when Yankees designated hitter/first baseman Jason Giambi is trying to break out of a slump, he wears a lucky gold thong under his Yankees uniform. He’s even shared his thong with a few of his Yankees teammates, including Derek Jeter, to help them break out of their slumps.
In the MLW store, we sell a white ‘got balls?’ thong. No MLW players have ever (knowingly) worn a thong during a game, but now you can try it in your wiffleball league! If you’re desperate to get a hit, it might be exactly what you need.
This thong (or any thong) would most likely look better on a female, but guys trying to get out of a slump are welcome to give it a try. You’ll probably want to wear something over it.
We recommend that you get your own thong though. While wearing a lucky thong may seem a little odd, sharing a thong with someone else just seems wrong.
Wearing a thong to break out of a slump has worked for Jason Giambi. Maybe it will work for you?
