Have The Brett Favre Attitude For Wiffleball

Brett Favre holding a football - courtesy ESPN.com Although he drives football fans crazy every NFL offseason, Brett Favre has the right idea. When you’re in a position like his, deciding to whether to play football or not on a year-by-year basis is a great move. You can play the game you love, or you can take it easy instead.

Wiffleball players have it even better. Since wiffleball is commonly played in your own backyard or neighborhood, you get to make that decision every day.

Wiffleball allows you to come out of retirement whenever you want. You can be the next Michael Jordan, Lance Armstrong, Mario Lemieux, or Roger Clemens.

On Monday night, Favre will host his old team, the Green Bay Packers. This is the matchup he’s been waiting two years for. Favre is seeking revenge against his old team, and he’s extremely motivated. While I’m not choosing sides, I just hope the game lives up to all the hype. Plus, a Packers blowout will be a little awkward, like striking out swinging against a girl pitcher.

Favre has been said to play football like a kid at times, and likewise can’t make up his mind like one either. But that’s the perfect recipe for a wiffleball player. Maybe he has a promising wiffleball career after the NFL?

You can say that you’re tired of hearing about him, but Brett Favre is more popular than ever. He has the highest selling NFL jersey this season.

Do you wear a jersey for wiffleball? Why not wear a #4 Minnesota Vikings jersey then? If purple isn’t your color, the Brett Favre New York Jets and Green Bay Packers jerseys are still very popular too.
