About Shaun Breen: He has finished atop the standings in each of the last two seasons. He led in most pitching and hitting categories. However, most league members would not consider him to be the best or even second-best player in the league. Yet, Commissioner Shaun Breen performs very well both on the mound and at the plate, a rarity in this league.

2002 Outlook: Shaun Breen swung for the fence in 2001, and more than doubled his home run total from the previous year. However, his batting average suffered and his strikeout total soared. The truth is, Shaun is not a power hitter; he is a singles and doubles hitter. And because he doesn't have a deadly fastball, moving the mound back a few feet will hurt his pitching statistics. Expect hitting results closer to his 2000 numbers, pitching stats closer to what he did in 2001, and an overall ranking somewhere in the top four.
