About
Eric Coons: Eric is the only player to have
played in every inning in the last two seasons, and he
will hopefully do the same again this year. It was hard
to tell that he hardly ever swung a bat prior to the start
of the 2000 season; Eric batted .328 in 2001 -- his second
season. For the past two years, he has finished with more
decisions and walks than any other player. For good luck,
Eric often wears a sticker on his right sneaker.
2002
Outlook: Eric will most likely put up numbers
similar to last year, but look for his batting average
and walk total do drop slightly. One can only guess if
he'll be able to get as many decisions, or break the MLW
single-season wins record of seven.
