About
Aamir Chaudhry: A frequent visitor to The Sac until he left for
Syracuse University in 1996, Aamir Chaudhry found his old pals on this
web site and arranged a return trip. Aamir, now an electrical engineer
at Raytheon, drove in from Boston, MA to prove he still had some baseball
skills. Unfortunately, the distance will prevent him from playing more than
a couple of games a year, but we're glad he's willing to play when possible.
2002
Outlook: It didn't take long for Aamir to adjust to the
style of play here. He showed he could be a dominant pitcher and
even earned a save in his very first game. He'd definitely be
a playoff contender if he was able to play more often. Aamir
could be the leading candidate for 2002 Rookie of the Year.
