| Highest Batting Average |
Shaun Breen simply crushed opposing pitchers during the regular season. His average
increased steadily as the season progressed, finishing .045 points ahead
of second-place finisher Mike Breen.
Mike had a chance at the batting title going into the last day of the season,
but he opted to rest for the playoffs. Shaun didn't hit Mike so well during
the season, so if he had faced Mike on the final day of the season it would
have been interesting to see if the results would have turned out the same.

| Most Home Runs |
Mike Breen ran away with this award. He admitted though that Quentin probably
would have won this award if he played more often. Still, Mike finished
with twice as many homers as his nearest competitors.
Undoubtedly, Mike's 12 homers were the main reason he was elected the league's
Most Valuable Player. His other stats were solid too, but the homers put
him over the top.

| Kellogg's Special K Award -- Most
Strikeouts Batting |
The Ceccucci brothers were battling over this award until the final game of
the regular season. Matt started the season with the advantage, but started
putting the ball in play more often in the second half of the season. Marc
was pretty much the opposite, cooling off as the season went on, and cooling
off opposing players with the breeze caused by his bat missing the ball.
In the end, Matt prevailed by striking out just two more times than his
brother, and seven more times than third-place finisher Eric Coons. |
