There's 104 Days of Summer Vacation

There’s a 104 days of summer vacation, and school comes along just to end it. So the annual problem for our generation, is finding a good way to spend it.

Like maybe… playing wiffleball.

OK, so we borrowed a few lines from the Phineas and Ferb opening song, which is performed by wiffleball fans Bowling for Soup (above), who took the time to pose with a wiffleball for us.

Phineas and Ferb always seem to do a bunch of cool stuff, but to our knowledge, they haven’t played wiffleball yet. There’s still time though, even for you.

A few weeks ago, our wonderful MLW roving staff members attended an Uncle Kracker concert and were able to meet up with him after the show. As always, they went prepared with a wiffleball, and Uncle Kracker gladly posed for a photo holding the wiffleball. Judging by his smile, he may even be a wiffleball fan.

This Tuesday, Uncle Kracker released his new CD, “Happy Hour”. One of our staff-ladies who knows a thing or two about music has called it “the best CD of 2009, by far.”

Brookside returned to MLW headquarters in Cohoes, NY, and while they were here, we took a few photos of them tossing around a wiffleball. They’ve posed for us in the past, and we’re glad they keep coming back.
