Uncle Kracker Holding a Wiffleball for Happy Hour
A few weeks ago, our wonderful MLW roving staff members attended an Uncle Kracker concert and were able to meet up with him after the show. As always, they went prepared with a wiffleball, and Uncle Kracker gladly posed for a photo holding the wiffleball. Judging by his smile, he may even be a wiffleball fan.
This Tuesday, Uncle Kracker released his new CD, “Happy Hour”. One of our staff-ladies who knows a thing or two about music has called it “the best CD of 2009, by far.”
Brookside Back at The Sac
Brookside returned to MLW headquarters in Cohoes, NY, and while they were here, we took a few photos of them tossing around a wiffleball. They’ve posed for us in the past, and we’re glad they keep coming back.
This time, Brookside has a new band member, their drummer, Wendall James Scott III.
Lights Resolve Holds a Wiffleball
At the end of January, the band Lights Resolve, out of Long Island, NY, performed just a few miles down the road from us, at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY. You may recognize these guys, as they are former members of the band Last Week.
Back in 2001, another trio from Long Island traveled to our area…
The White Tie Affair Never Gets Sick and Tired of Wiffleball
The White Tie Affair stopped by FLY92 studios earlier this week, to perform a live acoustic set, and MLW staff members Sharon and Kayla were there to greet them, as they’ve known the band for over a year. Lucky for us, they brought a wiffleball with them.
The White Tie Affair’s hit song Candle (Sick And Tired) can be heard on radio stations all over the US, and their two music videos can be seen on music channels that still show music videos.
