3rd Annual Baby V Wiffle Ball Tourney

The ’3rd Annual Baby V Foundation Wiffle Ball Tourney’ will be held on Saturday, August 8th, 2009 at the Town of Newburgh Little League Fields on Lakeside Road in Newburgh, New York.

Teams will consist of 5-6 players, and the registration fee is $150.00 per team. Last year’s tournament was won by Show No Mercer (left). All proceeds benefit pediatric cancer research through the Baby V Foundation.

Teams are encouraged to raise additional money above the $150.00 registration fee, which will be donated to help fight pediatric cancer. A prize will be awarded to the person or team that raises the most money above the $150.00 requirement. Players and teams may ask friends, family members, and local businesses to sponsor them.

If you register prior to August 1st, you’re guaranteed to receive a T-shirt. Those who register on the day of the event will receive T-shirts on a first-come, first served-basis.

There will be food sold throughout the day, along with raffles, bounce houses, a dunk tank, and much more! Bring your whole family for a day of fun! Check in time is at 8:00 AM. The games will start at 9:00 AM. The winning team will receive championship trophies, and the runners-up will also receive awards.

This event is really for a great cause. If you live in the Newburgh, NY area, or can get there easily, this sounds like a very fun time.
